David Smith, author of a best selling Amazon book on sales psychology and co-pioneer of the widely adopted prospect-centered sales theory, will deliver the keynote speech at the 6th annual InterFace Seniors Housing Midwest conference scheduled for October 20 in Chicago.
In "It's About Time: How To Grow Revenue with Prospect-Centered Selling" Smith chronicles his thirty-plus-year journey in senior living. He reveals how to turn deep-seated resistance into successful conversions and uncovers how his field-tested technique is based on a theoretical model adapted from the psychology of change.
Smith is co-owner, developer and manager at The Gatesworth in St. Louis, a nationally recognized senior living community. In 2014, Smith and Alex Fisher founded Sherpa, which combines the prospect centered selling methodology, CRM, training and analytical tools designed for senior living sales. He retired from Sherpa earlier this year.
Smith was the lead instructor for the sales and marketing curriculum at Erickson School Executive MBA program at the University of Maryland and serves on the Executive Board of American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA).
Excitement and momentum continue to build for InterFace Seniors Housing Midwest, the industry's longest running regional seniors housing conference in the Heartland.
